This session offers a safe and empathetic environment for you to discover meaningful ways to acknowledge both your sorrow and the essence of the season.
We will be providing information on the following topics:
Understanding Grief Triggers: We’ll discuss how common holiday activities, smells, songs, or gatherings can intensify grief and how to prepare for these moments with mindfulness and self-compassion.
Embracing New and Old Traditions: Participants will be encouraged to create traditions that honor their loved one’s memory, which can be comforting while making space for healing.
Practicing Self-Compassion and Boundaries: The holidays often come with expectations from others, and we’ll discuss ways to set healthy boundaries and communicate needs to loved ones to protect emotional well-being.
